Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect - Dublin

Rare opportunity to join an early stage organisation which sits within a huge global business, the result is an exciting, fast paced and dynamic environment with the security and financial backing of a large corporation. This is a new financial service business being created with an outsourced IT model which needs a small team of senior people to direct and manage the efforts of the vendors.

It is likely that you are not a formal Enterprise Architect yet but have had exposure to Enterprise Architecture and in this role will be part of a 4 person Enterprise Architecture team while taking on Solution Architecture projects in line with the thinking at an EA level.

This is a great opportunity for someone that has move on from coding into design and architecture to join a progressive and forward thinking team building Greenfield solutions. There is a strong emphasis on being able to build web based applications which can be white labelled and designing re-usable components that can be used in multi Challen solutions.

You should have experience of designing/architecting/building Enterprise level extranet/intranet/internet solutions.

Role / opportunity:

· Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Project Design Authority

· Work closely with business and Business Architect to architect and design business focused applications

· Creating web based platform to interact with partners and corporate customers

· Creating reusable, generic components to be used in web solutions, intranet solutions, customer solutions

· Designing multi channel solutions that are reusable in web and client server environments

· Managing third party suppliers to deliver on your designs

· Identifying, pre-empting, governing, reviewing design and documenting issues that will impact reusability

· This is not a role which involves any coding

· Impact analysis & cost/time estimation

· Willingness to tackle all tasks as needed in this start-up environment

Skills / Experience:

· Must be able to work in Applications, Data and Technical (infrastructure) architecture areas

· Real experience of building big Enterprise Extranet / Intranet / Internet solutions

· Know how to build sites that have different views for different channels

· Experience of architecting and designing reusable components

· Must be familiar with; white labelling systems, portals, portal server, web 2.0

· Have a natural authority and ability to drive third party suppliers to deliver what the business need

Package:
