Solution Architect Telecoms business environment

New opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect/ Solution Architect to join a high successful and expanding software development company focused on the telecom market as part of the core product development team.

In this role you will be architecting components of leading edge software products in a Java J2EE Apache Tomcat technical environment.

Role / opportunity:

  • Solution Architect role
  • Designing world class web based telecoms products
  • Working in a Java J2EE Apache Tmcat J2ME technical environment
  • Understanding the external customers needs
  • Providing Technical Solutions to Customer problems in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparation and Delivery of internal and external technical presentations
  • Delivering proof of concepts

Skills / experience:

  • 8+ years commercial experience
  • 4+ years experience in systems architecture with large Tier-one Telecoms Operators
  • Technical experience to include: J2EE, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, HTML, XML, Ajax, J2ME and Symbian S60
  • Knowledge of protocols: HTTP, SyncML, ATOM, SMPP, SMTP, SIP and XCAP
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
