An excellent opportunity for a systems administrator to join a well established IT firm in Dublin. This is a client facing role based at the client’s site in Dublin. Responsibilities include assurance of highly available Windows 2000/2003 based systems, San Management, maintenance of consistent, recoverable backups for all systems, implementation of new systems and maintain relevant documentation.

Role/Opportunity

• Status checks on all servers
• Ensuring stability of all systems
• Installation of updates and patches
• Planned maintenance with minimal distruption
• Manage Exchange and Web servers
• Disaster recovery

Beneficial Skills/Experience

• 2+ years similar experience
• Knowledge of Veritas NetBackup
• Experience with WIN2000/2003 server
• Experience with VMWare
• Experience with Linux and Unix
• Experience with Citrix and SQL

Salary/Remuneration: 35-40k
