Technical Architect / Enterprise Architect

This is a new position in a recently established Architecture team working for an emerging business unit within a world leading financial services corporation. This new business is being based in Dublin City Centre and this role is at the heart of the architecture of applications, solutions and the enterprise architecture for the company.

As an experienced Technical Architect this is an opportunity to gain Enterprise Architecture experience within this team of 4 Architects. The focus of the role will be to architect and design enterprise applications in line with the high architectural approach and work with external vendors to ensure the solutions being built are in line with the business needs and expectations.

This is a great chance to join an newly created company and influence the architecture of solutions from the ground up will having the financial security of a global corporation backing this business.

There is a strong focus on building complex web based applications with re-usable components which align to the rapidly growing business needs.

  • Technical Architect / solution architect / Enterprise Architect

  • Managing third party suppliers to deliver software solutions
  • Major focus on creating Web 2.0 components

  • Driving software architecture and design
  • Working through a Java J?EE Technology stack

Skills / Experience:

  • 4+ years as a Technical Architect / Systems Architect / Solution Architect / Software Architect
  • 8+ years commercial experience
  • Java J2EE technical background would be most appropriate
  • Experience of building scalable robust web based solutions
