Technical Implementation Consultant ERP background

Excellent long term contract opportunity with a highly successful and growing international software company with a large scale Dublin based operation. Working with external client s to deliver a complex enterprise application akin to an ERP solution in the banking sector.

You should have a solid technical background to include; RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), application servers (Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss), Unix (Solaris, AIX, Linux, HPUX) & some Java J2EE exposure combined with strong client facing skills.

This role provides critical knowledge to an implementation by understanding the technical requirements and tools necessary to implement, upgrade, administer, support and extend the applications.

Role / opportunity:

  • Implementation Consultant / Engineer
  • Post sales workshops
  • Requirement gathering and analysis
  • Assist in the technical implementation of the product
  • Deploying new releases into project environment
  • Tuning applications
  • International travel will be part of this role

Skills / experience:

  • 4+ years commercial experience
  • Strong technical grounding with; databases, application servers, Unix & Java
  • RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server),
  • Application Servers (Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss)
  • Unix (Solaris, AIX, Linux, HPUX)
  • Java J2EE knowledge
  • Background of implementing EROP solutions would be of interest
