One of the worlds leading technology organisations is currently going through a major recruitment drive and they are looking to add a technical Writer to there Cork office.

Our client has been at the forefront of the technology sector in Ireland for over 50 years, they continue to innovate and create new revolutionary products and due to an influx of new projects they are looking to add to there 5000+ work force in Ireland.

For the role you should have the following expertise:

  • Have gained expert knowledge with mark-up languages such DITA, HTML and XML are required as well as skills in creating topic-based information.
  • You must have strong technical skills and must be able to install and configure products on Windows and one or more Unix/Linux platforms.
  • You must have a strong sense of initiative, be a self-starter, and have strong project management skills.
  • The ability to work well with local and remote teams including other writers, developers, testers, and support engineers is also needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Technical Communications, Technical Writing with course work in Computer Science preferred.
  • Ideally gained over a years experience in Technical Writing
  • English: Fluent
