Testing Manager Life & Pensions

New opportunity for a QA Manager with a strong technical background to join an new internal Technology Management Team within a global life and pensions organisation where the focus is on working in an outsourced model managing external vendors and suppliers. As the business are taking a Greenfield approach to introducing IT systems there will a significant amount of system integration work which will require strong experience of regression testing and UAT.

Quality Centre automation tools are to be used so a background of automation testing is important and TMMi approach is of interest.

Role / opportunity:

  • Test Management / QA Management / Testing Manager
  • Willingness to get involved at a hands-on level
  • Devising and documenting test strategy
  • Working with Quality Center automation tools
  • Regression testing and UAT
  • Managing external vendors and suppliers
  • Greenfield approach being taken to new systems
  • Working for a global Life and Pension organisation
  • TMMi or ISEB type standards

Skills / experience:

  • 8+ years commercial Testing experience
  • 4+ years test management experience
  • Experience managing external vendors /suppliers
  • Experience with automation testing tools
  • Regression testing and UAT testing skills
  • Proven ability to create document and implement test strategy
  • TMMi or ISEB certification would be a bonus
  • Life and Pensions systems experience would be a benefit but not essential
