Unix/Aix system administrator with French

An experienced Unix/Aix system administrator with fluent French is required for a leading IT company in the Czech Republic.

Future responsibilities:
· Installation, maintenance and upgrade of server operating systems
· Day to day support to user queries and customer advice
· Carry out occasional work scheduled outside of regular working hours (on-call duty)

Requirements:
· High school education
· Intermediate knowledge of English and French
· At least 12 months AIX 4.x or 5.x experience or 12 months Linux experience.
· Performance monitoring and analysis
· Problem determination, analysis and resolution
· Server installation and server configuration
· Network interfaces, backup and recovery strategies
· Focus on customer needs
· Good team working skills balanced with ability to work alone and a positive attitude
· Ability to work various shifts.

Advantage is to know:
· HACMP configuration and administration
· AIX pSeries/SP skills
· RedHat Linux or SUSE
