We are currently seeking to recruit a Web Research and Development Analyst for a full time position with our clients who has built a solid reputation as a strong, competitive leader in the airline industry. Their award-winning Web site, provides users with easy access to check and book fares, plus personalized news, information & travel offers.

As part of a multi disciplinary team and reporting to the Research and Development manager, you will support the implementation of enhancements and functionality on our clients international websites. The role will primarily be responsible for technical requirements scoping, business analysis related to project implementation and software development on web technology projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
   • Support the implementation of web related technology projects and enhancements
   • Scope the integration of new technology or enhancements to existing technology
   • Conduct business analysis related to new project implementations
   • Perform server and database maintenance
   • Code new solutions, maintain existing code and manage application performance
   • Coordinate and conduct testing and user acceptance testing

Essential Technical Requirements:
   • Strong understanding of web technology, protocols and standards
   • Fluency in at least one of the following PHP (Object oriented) or Java
   • Prior commercial software/web development experience
   • SQL experience (MYSQL a plus)
   • Working knowledge of Linux
   • Expertise in developing web based applications
   • Strong HTML coding skills
   • Strong JavaScript coding skills
   • Good CSS coding skills
   • Good analytical skills
